The Ritz Carlton, Grand Cayman was severely damaged by Hurricane Ivan in September 2004. The loss adjusters, Cunningham Lindsey, employed Adair to provide commercial support, quantity surveying and site management during the rebuilding of the hotel.
Due to the nature of the business it was imperative that the works be completed quickly, but also that standards and quality be maintained. Controlling the cost of the rebuild were also high on the agenda for our client.
The hotel managed to reopen in December 2005 following what was almost a complete rebuild and fit-out.
