Adair has been employed by the tenants’ co-operative since the start of this project for the repair, maintenance and external decoration of its significant portfolio of flats.
This included the initial full survey of all properties, the development of a cyclical planned maintenance and refurbishment schedule, and the phasing of work across the estate. Adair has undertaken each phase from conception to completion and has provided Design, Contract Administration, Materials Specification, Building Surveying, Quantity Surveying and CDM Co-ordination advice. This includes monthly progress reports and valuations, and providing the co-operative with detailed cost breakdowns for use during its funding negotiations with Wandsworth Borough Council. We also help the co-operative to provide project, cost and progress information to its tenants. During all phases, we have ensured that the contractors meet the co-operative’s high standards for quality and performance and our cost controls ensure that work is completed within budgets. Our long-standing relationship with this cooperative means we have acted as consultants on all of the ten phases, with each phase being a new instruction.
