Mark joined Adair in 2005 as a Trainee Surveyor. He completed his post-graduate Diploma in Quantity Surveying with the College of Estate Management in 2008 and became a Chartered Quantity Surveyor in 2010.
Before joining Adair, Mark gained construction experience as a laborer before progressing to site management of logistics and sub-contract packages. His site-based knowledge brings an added level of experience and insight to his surveying role.
Mark now primarily works for private clients and acts as contract administrator or employer’s agent to look after their financial interests on super-prime residential projects, both pre- and post-contract. His other areas of expertise are:
- JCT contracts
- traditional quantity surveying
- monitoring surveying for banks and financial institutions
- costing dilapidations
- preparing and managing sub-contractor accounts
- providing advice and assistance in claims and construction disputes.
Mark is past Chairman of RICS Surrey Matrics, which supports students, trainees and newly qualified chartered surveyors.
Outside of work, Mark enjoys playing football for his local club and Japanese food.
