Rachel has a BSc (Hons) in Quantity Surveying from Birmingham Polytechnic (now Birmingham City University) and became a chartered quantity surveyor in 2010.
Before joining Adair, Rachel worked for a range of property and construction consultancies. Her projects include hotel and nursing home refurbishments and extensions, super-prime residential refurbishments and new builds, and social housing. She specialises in the refurbishment and new build of sustainable commercial offices and mixed-use facilities.
Rachel has extensive experience of delivering CAT A and CAT B offices for developers and occupiers, and has delivered masterplanning and feasibility estimates for mixed-use and commercial schemes.
Her clients have included banks, insurance companies, legal firms, utilities, government organisations and public services.
At Adair, Rachel will be delivering quantity surveying services and will be its Midlands Office Manager and regional lead. Her core areas of expertise include:

• Commercial property
Rachel is an RICS Associate Assessor and a member of the RICS Construction Journal Editorial Advisory Group. She is also a School Governor and Vice Chair at Willington Primary School in South Derbyshire, Run Director at Markeaton Junior Parkrun in Derby and a Trustee at Lench’s Housing Trust in Birmingham.
Outside of work, Rachel enjoys socialising, family time, running and long-distance walking for charity events.
