Bob has worked in the construction industry for more than 28 years and his family has been involved in the sector for four generations.
He has extensive experience in senior roles for contractors and consultants, where his client portfolio included banks and funds, and high-net-worth individuals. He has also lectured on construction and surveying topics.
Bob has worked across a range of projects, including commercial, mixed-use, residential, healthcare, leisure and large-scale ‘district’ redevelopments.
At Adair, Bob provides expert advice on the full range of building surveying services, and project and fund monitoring projects. His other areas of expertise include cost analysis and modelling, estimating and technical due diligence.
He has served as a panel member for the CIOB’s Professional interview board and performed a similar role for RICS APC candidate assessments. He has also been an APC supervisor for staff working towards their RICS membership.
Outside of work, Bob enjoys off-road driving, spending time with his family and is a member of several local groups where he plays piano and guitar. He also has long-standing interests in historic buildings and affordable housing.
